babble.ly is a quick and easy way to provide others the opportunity to contact your phone, without giving out your number.
Simply enter your number on the front page to create a random babble.ly link. You can post this link anywhere you'd like people to get in touch with you by phone, but where you don't want to reveal your phone number. Email it, IM it, put it up on Forums, use it on Craigslist to allow potential buyers to more easily contact you, Facebook, Twitter, anywhere!
babble.ly is free. But your regular carrier agreements still apply, so there may be minutes deducted if you don't have an unlimited plan. We may offer premium services in the future.
for more information.
Call 415-325-2003 and you will be prompted to invalidate the link. Or if you have an account, log in to your account and in your Account Settings
delete the link.
babble.ly is currently only available in the U.S. and Canada.
Before attempting to verify a Google Voice number, modify your Google Voice settings to disable "Ask unknown callers to say their name", under the "Settings/Calls" section.
Google Voice intercepts DTMF codes, so you may not be able to verify your Google Voice number with babble.ly if the babble.ly verification code includes the number "4". If this happens just reload the babble.ly verification page to receive a new verification code.
babble.ly supports SMS for link information and placing calls. Just text HELP to 415-325-2003 to get a list of commands. Standard text message rates may apply.
